A short walk from Hotel Mazarin, the 21st Amendment at La Louisiane Bar brings the speakeasy experience to life—minus the secrecy. With expertly crafted cocktails, dim lighting, and vintage charm, it’s the perfect place to unwind after exploring the French Quarter. Originally opened as La Louisiane Hotel & Restaurant, it operated as a restaurant through the 1990s. From the 1950s to the 1980s, it was owned by two of New Orleans’ most notorious mobsters, Diamond Jim Moran and Carlos Marcello, adding a storied past to its timeless allure.
