La Louisiane Bar & Catering Venue is a private venue adjacent to Hotel Mazarin that accommodates a seated dinner for up to 132 guests. 21st Amendment Bar at La Louisiane is a French Quarter bar pays tribute to the era that made U.S. history when it ratified Prohibition during the 1920s - an era where the mafia thrived and speakeasies proliferated through the trade of illegal alcohol. The bar is located adjacent to La Louisiane Bar & Catering Venue on Iberville St. It was once part of the historic La Louisiane Restaurant that had been in operation from 1881 to the 1990s when two of New Orleans' most notorious gangsters owned and operated the restaurant from the 1950s to 1980s.
